Cedar Rapids CTMH Scrabook Club

Do you feel like someone has a remote control for your life and they have it stuck on fast forward?! Do you have a child starting school, graduating, getting married, having a baby soon and all their pictures have either gathered an inch of dust or are still stuck on your computer? Do you want to capture those moments while you still remember the names of everyone? Do you crave some fun girlfriend and me time or just some time when no one will yell “MOM!”?!

I might just have a solution for you!

I am starting a Close to My Heart scrapbooking club and I would love for you to join!!

I am looking for people who are looking for some fun productive time to work on projects, to learn some new techniques, and share some laughs with friends! Never scrapbooked before...no worries...I will so you how easy it can be!!

Here are some of the details:

~ Each month I will demonstrate a new two page layout. I will provide a “supply list” a month in advance so you can come prepared to complete the layout I will demonstrate. The supply list will tell you how much paper, size and orientation of photos the layout calls for as well as any suggestions for embellishments.

~ I want this layout and this club to be suited to you! You will never be required to purchase a predetermined kit or supplies. You can use your own papers, stamps, embellishments, or you can purchase CTMH product…it is your choice what to use!!!!

~ As I am a consultant for Close to My Heart I will be using CTMH products in my demonstrations. You certainly are welcome to purchase product from me and I think you will see how wonderful and how easy Close to My Heart makes it with their coordinated paper packs, inks, markers, stamps sets and embellishments, but you will not be required to purchase from me.

~ Every month Close to My Heart sales are in excess of $150 (before tax/shipping) I will conduct a drawing from everyone who made a purchase. Each purchaser will receive one entry for every $10 (before tax/shipping) they spend. The winner will then receive the “hostess” credits for those sales. Hostess credits start at $25 of free product and go up from there.

~ Any individual whose order reaches $100 automatically qualifies to receive the Stamp of the Month for free!!! This is a $22.95 reatil value! Individual orders of $50 or $75 qualifies you to purchase this set at reduced rates.

~ Attendance will never be required...but you will miss out on alot of fun!

~ For plannng purposes I do request that you please let me know if you will not be attending.

~ Each participant is asked to BYOB…bring your own basics: Paper trimmer, Scissors, Ruler, Pencil, Adhesive, paper, embellishments, etc

~ I have all the Close to My Heart inkpads available for use during our club nights as well as nearly 200 Close to My Heart stamp sets. It’s great way to see if you like it before purchasing!! I also have available many other scrapbooking tools that can be made available during our club nights, such as a Cricuit, Cuttlebug, Crop-a-Dile, Crop-A-Dile Big Bite, wide format printer, various punches, embossing powders and heat gun, and more!

~ We will meet the second Sunday of every month from 1:00 – 5:00pm at a local church. Having a fixed day and time for all meetings allows everyone to plan ahead in our busy schedules and know we have saved that time for us to preserve precious memories for our families, and oh yea…have some much deserved fun time!! Our kickoff meeting will be November 15th!!!

If you are interested in joining this fun group please contact me at kstopps@mchsi.com. Please feel free to extend this invitation to join to any of your friends or family!

Binkie baby!

I used CTMH Animal Cookies paper for this one. Really like the bright colors against the white. I double po-dotted the binkie in the klarge phot to make it "pop".

BASEBALL!!

Here is a LO I did for my son. I tried a few new (to me) technigues...lacing, flip flaps (from CTMH...FABULOUS!!!), stamping on ribbon and machine stitching. It was a fun one to make!

This is lacing with ribbon and eyelets.

These are the flip flaps that adhere to the outside of the page protector. I have filled them with the trading cards my son had for each season of baseball. They can be layered as many levels deep as you want. Super fun and easy way to display more images and to also make your pages interactive!

SCUBA

I made this LO of my son, husband and daughter and their experience of becomming certified n Scuba while we were in Maui. My husband and son needed to become certified so they could go on a Seabase scuba trip with Boy Scouts and my daughter decided it was too much fun to pass up!!

Sweet Dreams

Here is a LO I made of various pictures of my son sleeping. Sometimes he would fall asleep in the most unusual locations...like climbing the stairs!

Finally some LO's completed!!!!

It's been awhile, but I fonally got a few minutes to do a few LOs!

This LO is called ME ALLIGATOR! It is from a trip to FL when my son fell in love with alligators and selected a plastic alligator as his favorite friend. He carried it everywhere!
